Metal roofs are made from many alloys: from traditional copper and tin to the new painted steel, aluminum, and zinc, among others. The two most common metal roof profiles in this area, and the ones we have the most experience with, are the raised (standing) seam metal for pitched roofs, and locked & soldered seam metal for flat roofs. There are also a variety of stamped metal roofing shingles, slate, tile, and shake facsimiles.
Metal roofing products are lightweight, durable, fire & wind resistant, and typically manufactured from at least 50% recycled content. After many decades they will be recycled again, making them the most ‘green’ roofing option. The initial cost for a new metal roof is higher than asphalt shingles but the return on investment is much greater when the longer lifespan is taken into consideration.
With all of the choices available, we are able to offer an ultra modern appearance, historic replication, or complement the exterior of any ordinary building. Choose a professional metal roofing contractor when it’s time to replace your roof.
